Playground Set Project

Daddy and mommy picked out a playground set for us. Our backyard is inclined. Daddy has put up a retaining wall prior to playground installation.

Phase 1 - Clear out the area for the playground.

Phase 2 - Several bricks are laid out.

Phase 3 - Now we're coming along.

Phase 4 - - A majority of the wall has been completed. Bad news is that the far corner needs to be leveled by 4-5 ft. That is alot of bricks!

Phase 5 - Daddy stayed home to work on the project.
Phase 6 - I've completed the wall 98%. I order a tad too much fill dirt, but it's okay.

My man Mike from work helps me install the playground set. He is perhaps one of the handiest people I know. It takes us 10 hours to install the set together. ~500-600 bricks for the retaining wall, and 32 tons of fill dirt. The price of the retaining wall is 3x as much as the playground set!

2009 Knox-Merriweather Family Reunion

2009 Knox-Merriweather Family Reunion in Atlanta

Every two years my mom's side of the family has a family reunion. This year it was in Atlanta. A great time was had by all.

The beginning of our road to trip to Atlanta. Alexis with Grandmommy is getting ready for the long drive.

Food break at Chick Fil A.

Fun at the pool. The water was cold but Daddy toughed it out with us.

A little sightseeing at the MLK Center.

My young prince. A king in training, looking quite dapper at the family banquet.

The Knox-Merriweather Clan. I was the official photographer. As you can tell, I love to take pictures.
